With so many consulting firms around the corner, what does Ekakshar Consultants brings on the table for their clients?

After years of working with several startups and SMEs, it was heartbreaking for me to see that most of them are not able to scale up in terms of transactions or revenue. The primary focus for most businesses remains to have a good business idea and high end technologically superior applications. In this hustle for superior technology and growth, most of the companies forget about the people side of the business. And that’s where we come into the picture!

What is your biggest selling point as a consulting firm?

Our biggest selling point as a firm is that we understand, not one solution fits all. Therefore, it is practically impossible to create a product that magically solves everything for everyone.

Therefore, our mission is to create tailored plans for the businesses we work with. At Ekakshar, we firmly believe in services, consultation, and analysis of situations and problems that are unique to you, and finding the solutions that make sense to your business, in terms of your budget, feasibility, scale, and demographics.

Why a more traditional name for your firm?

Ekakshar is the other name for Lord Ganesha, who is the ultimate symbol of prosperity and wisdom for everyone. This is what we want our clients to associate us with. In addition, I truly adore and love Lord Ganesha. So this is why this name is so good for us.

Could you share a bit more about your offering?

We are predominantly into Marketing, Sales, Strategy & Business consulting. We try to answer some very fundamental but tough questions for our clients. For instance, will customers actually pay for your product? Is your business idea worth investing your resources? If the answer is yes, how to reach your customers and expand your market presence. Most importantly, how to differentiate yourself in this world with 190 million+ companies? And believe me, it’s tough! Sometimes the answers may be very straightforward, but they do need a lot more work in terms of the actual implementation. To summarise our motto is, — Simplify, Scale, and Succeed.

Any important advice for the upcoming startups.

My only suggestion is that it’s not important for a startup to have a unique idea or application to be successful. Many times traditional businesses do way better because they have done their homework well. So just focus on one question, how many people will actually pay your business directly or indirectly.
